Hi, I'm Peter, the guy who started this
website. I live in Shanghai and noticed that it's
difficult to find out where Shanghai's salsa parties
are. Many promoters rely only on word of mouth or
Chinese websites. There are places to dance here
every day of the week, but you'd never know just by
searching online. So I decided to start this website
as a platform for any promoter in the city to list
salsa events for free. It's non-profit and has the
single purpose of making it easier to anyone to
quickly find out where to go dance. I hired an
engineer and a designer on elance and rentacoder to build the site, I put up
some of the initial content, and from now on it's up
to each promoter to keep their party info up to
date.
